I've owned this player for various months and have put to use it mainly in the gym and I'm pretty pleased with it is overall performance. After using the touch calibration I have no problem with navigation and the volume switch on the side of the player makes for simple and easy volume adjust. I downloaded several movies in avi. format and transferred them to my player it took minutes. I am not positive how those other reviewers did it but I did not use the included software, I dragged and pasted. The video resolution was outstanding for a 50 dollar mp3 player, makes the time on the cycle go immediately. I divided music into many folders with titles and am very happy with efficiency. Fantastic player for those who wanted a tiny much more but do not feel the will need for ipod rates. I plug mine into my laptop at perform every single night so I really don't know how extended the battery life is.
This device is simple to use, provides pretty good sound excellent and feels as if it is produced with quality supplies. My 11 yr old daughter had the player up and operating in minutes. We had ordered a further device of comparable price tag but returned it due to poor materials and construction but that was not the case with this product. Given that owning this player, we've had to reset it on a handful of occasions but no music or files were lost. I would advocate this to any person searching for an affordable mp3 player but who doesn't want to invest a fortune on of the name brand devices.
